After retiring from IT management, Captain Gary was thrilled to continue his favorite pastime of sailing. Having owned several sailboats and living in Toms River most of his adult life, he has been sailing for over forty years.
From Provincetown to Miami, and from Sarasota around the Florida Keys, across the Gulf Stream to the Bahamas, he has logged a multitude of nautical miles skippering the dazzling Innamorata.
With a Coast Guard Master’s Credential and certified as a Professional Sailing Instructor, Captain Gary is back in the Barnegat Bay offering you sailing opportunities from brunch and dinner cruises, to personalized sailing adventures on Toms River and Barnegat Bay. Captain Gary offers advanced sailing instructions as well as Captain services tailored to your needs.

First Mate Jan
(really the Admiral)
Professionally, Jan holds a Masters degree in clinical counseling psychology. But after retiring several years ago to sail with Gary to the Bahamas and around Florida, she never looked back at her high school counseling position.
Having been raised in a big Italian family of eight, Jan’s cooking and baking skills are mostly self taught. She has worked in several culinary positions throughout her life and will oversee the delicious foods that accompany your cruise.
Also having learned the history of Toms River and surrounding areas, Jan will be happy to share these historical facts with you as you sail around the bay and river.
Second Mate
Stella Bella
Stella Bella joined our small family several years ago and has traveled with us throughout Florida. “Stellie Magellan” as we like to call her is the perfect mate to accompany us on whatever adventure we choose. Stella is a six pound, mild mannered but frisky Yorkshire terrier who will charm you with her wagging tail and effervescent style. If you choose to have her aboard, never fear as she doesn’t bite and will only smother you with kisses. You can choose to have her aboard or politely decline.
